Introduction to Policy Instruments for Municipal Solid Waste Management (SWM)
The webinar starts with a general overview about policy, regulations and other policy instruments in SWM and the importance of having them in place in order to support municipalities' solid waste management, providing examples from the Costa Rican experience. The webinar provides inputs on the impact of policy and regulatory frameworks on project financing in developing countries.
The webinar is presented by Ms. Sylvia Aguilar from CEGESTI and Mr. Gerardo Canales from CCAP.
The webinar was organized and hosted by the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) on behalf of theWaste Initiative. The webinar took take place on November 15 at 3 pm CET.
