Second Workshop for the Municipal Solid Waste City Network Program for African Francophone Cities - Dakar
The Climate and Clean Air Coalition's Municipal Solid Waste Initiative, supported by Gevalor, held an invite-only workshop on reducing short-lived climate pollutant(SLCPs) from the solid waste sector for nine cities of African Francophone Countries. This event took place in the conference room of the Maison de la Presse, Dakar, Senegal, on October 23 -25, 2017.
The objective of this workshop was to train the city representatives to evaluate short-lived climate pollutants emissions from the waste management on their territories.
The workshop was attended by representatives of cities of Dakar (Senegal), Sikasso (Mali), San Pedro (Ivory Coast), Porto-Novo (Benin), Ouagadougou (Burkina-Faso), Douala (Cameroon), Butembo (Democratic Republic of Congo), Antananarivo (Madagascar), and Lomé (Togo).
