“Ask an Expert” is a free service offered to representatives of municipalities, government agencies and organisations assisting municipalities/governments from CCAC partner countries

Experts are available to provide information and advice on best available technologies; the establishment and implementation of legislation, strategies and waste management plans; and financing options
How does it work?
Once you have submitted your question, it will be evaluated and assigned an expert. You will receive e-mail notification if you question has been assigned an expert and when expert has posted answer.

The “Ask an Expert” service is designed to help city and governmental representatives (and individuals from supporting organisations) engaged in the CCAC initiative to establish appropriate technologies, strategies, waste management plans, policies and legislation that advance sustainable waste management practices. The “Ask an Expert” service enables cities to learn from one another and share best practices, data, and analysis tools, creating dialogue on sustainable waste management aimed at scaling up best practices internationally.
As part of these efforts, the “Ask an Expert” service provides an indispensable service by connecting those seeking technical and policy support and advice with an expert(s) who can help them achieve their goals.
How does the “Ask an Expert” help?
The “Ask an Expert” service can assist decision makers and implementers with many types of waste management technical and policy advice, including development and implementation of waste plans and strategies, regulations and standards, financing options and information on best available technologies.
CCAC MSW experts can provide feedback on plans and strategies, share best practices from other cities, and provide technical support by phone and email. Support is limited to remote assistance within the scope of sustainable waste management. The “Ask an Expert” service does not provide assistance with project development, feasibility studies, or specific technology and system assessment.
